The green-bearded man wanders around the streets to find "prey" which are women who are home alone, of course he will do bad things to them instead of just lurking around "prey" all day without doing anything.
And indeed, each woman is caught by him and forced to give in to his "precious" before being raped, women are weak so the victims give up resisting after a short period... being raped.
