The sadness of a married woman and a lucky homeless youth

A few years after marrying a wealthy husband, Mary's life was not happy. Her husband did not love her, even looked down on her, and used violence against her. He seemed to have another woman on the side as well. Because her husband was the one paying off the family's debts, Mary could not divorce him and had to endure his coldness. One day, her husband asked Mary to clean up the vacant space on the second floor in preparation for renting it out.

While doing so, she accidentally discovered a homeless person living there. Out of pity, Mary allowed him to stay and brought him food to ease his hunger. Her kindness and beauty attracted him, while Mary was looking for someone to fill the void in her heart...
